Kyle has promised that she can sell "Any House But the
White House," Well, the truth is she found us a beautiful
white house (with gray trim) for our family and we are eternally
grateful to her for the hard work and money she saved us.
I first met Kyle over the phone in California when someone
from my husband's new office in Portland suggested she give
us a call. We had just received notice that we would be relocating.
I had made plane reservations to go up and look for a house
though we had no realtor until we heard from Kyle. She set
me up with a Mortgage company so our financing was in place
before I even got there.
Upon arrival we met with the Mortgage company and they informed
me that because I was self- employed, they couldn't approve
us for as big a loan as we had hoped, my heart sunk. Kyle
stayed very optimistic and went back to her computer to find
homes in the new price range. We went out to look that evening.
I felt like since I had only four days to look, I had to be
open to the idea of finding a rental and continuing the search
once we moved. "If an angel isn't sitting on the stairs,
I'm not buying it," I said. Kyle assured me that we would
find the house.
There were several nice homes to choose from, but when we
drove up to the last house, I fell in love. We walked through
the door and I couldn't help but smile. Kyle turned to me
and said, "I think I see your angel sitting on the stairs."
Still cautious, I told her I would have to talk to my husband
and let her know in the morning. The more I thought about
it the more I knew that it was the house for our family. My
husband told me to "go for it". Because we were
moving in just one month, we needed a quick escrow. We made
the offer and it turned out that the family living there needed
a quick escrow too. Everything was falling into place, just
as it always does when something is meant to be.
I returned to Los Angeles, my home, and left the work to
be done in Portland, up to Kyle. She met the inspector, negotiated
repairs over the telephone, kept in touch with the Mortgage
company, the other realtor representing the Seller and us.
We sent the signed escrow papers then loaded up the truck
and started our three day journey to the Northwest. In the
meantime, escrow was supposed to close. Having no way to contact
us, Kyle took the bull by the horns to make sure everything
was complete. She had our keys and Hershey Kissess roses when
we arrived. If it weren't for Kyle, it wouldn't have been
easy. With all the other hassles of relocation, it was comforting
to know we had an "angel on our side" taking care
of us.
Sincerely,
The Petrowsky Family
